Workshop Program

The full workshop program for 2012 will be announced shortly with the music program. In 2011, the following workshops were held;

11.00am - Scott Wilson-Brown from Red Duck Micro Brewery will talk about beer brewing and beer appreciation

11.45am - Russell Meadows from the Lake Goldsmith Butter Factory will talk about and demonstrate the art of making butter

12.30pm - Wine workshop with Roland Kaval discussing alternative varieties for cool climate wine making

1.15pm - Russell Meadows from the Lake Goldsmith Butter Factory will talk about and demonstrate the art of making butter

2.00pm - Richard Bell from Bells Water Garden will tell you all about native plants for dams

3.30pm - William Anglis Chef / Instructor, Richard Dobson will talk about and demonstrate cooking with mushrooms

Children's Marquee

Free children's entertainment all day including face painting, Noodle Box decorating, making bookmarks, Biscuit Icing, Stress Ball making, making photo frames and meeting Vic Parks Ranger Roo throughout the afternoon.

Mill Tours

The tour offers a glimpse of a bygone era when the Mill produced the flour and grains to feed the many miners who flocked to the region during the Gold Rush. Local Historian, Mr Jack Sewell will introduce the tours, while Mr Peter Meulan, a descendant of the original Mill owners, will conduct the tours at 11.00am, 12.30pm and 2.00pm
